I had originally been asked for a list of classics by a patron who was prepping to go back to college and wanted classics to read of which he should be aware to make the best of college. With that said, YALSA has a list of Outstanding Books for the College Bound which can be found on their website. The lists are for 1999, 2004 and 2009. The 2011 edition of the book by the same title has an updated list, but it cannot be found on the website.
As it turns out, we also happen to have the same title in print format at my current library: 028.5 OUT 2011 (Central) in the YANF section.
Correction- there is no list for the the year 2011. The 2011 print edition has the same lists as presented on the website.
