• Silent Souls (Russian w/ English subtitles)
• No Way Out But One (bummer of a documentary, but, maybe if I'm in the mood for it.)
• Sousa on the Rez: Marching to the Beat of a Different Drum (pbs special)
• The Suicide Plan
• Invoking Justice (documentary re: women's abuse rights in South India Muslim community)
• Waiting for Lightning (extreme sports doc)
• The Last Flight of Petr Ginz - this one looks really cool. Documentary about teen artist in concentration camps.

Video Librarian Mar/Apr 2013

I thought about using Rotten Tomatoes and the Internet Movie Database to track my list of films that I want to view, but then I ran against the limitation that neither database actually had some of the titles I was interested in. Yes they exist! I saw them in Video Librarian. So here's just the full list of what I'd like to see from the March/ April review issue:

Tools for Real Time Video Discussion

Saw this cool article in School Library Journal August 2012 titled Making the Most of Video in the Classroom that listed tools to use to enable discussion via chat while a group of people watch a video.

• SynchTube
• Google+ Hangouts- youtube only and limited to 10 participants
• Watch2gether- youtube only
• Vialogues- for content that you created or haven't uploaded yet. - allows poll questions and add comments

Thought of a small video business owner I know in terms of clients in one spot, him in another, but both being able to view the video at the same time and make comments to each other- of course, they could both just get on the phone... (sure, if you want to do it the easy way!)
